Planning to get a new Tattoo? Tattoo ink is toxic
Before you go under the needle, you should answer two questions; first: Do you need it or do you want it? Second: Do you want take the health risk? I know it’s not my business, but let me type a few more words.
Is there somebody in your family who had or has cancer? Grandparents, parents, siblings? The fact is that cancer is genetically conditioned. Your lifestyle should avoid any action which could make the predisposition stronger or bring on the disease, or ‘less’ serious issues, such as an allergic reaction or local infection.
Toxic ingredients, heavy metals
The term heavy metal refers to any metallic chemical element that has a relatively high density and is toxic or poisonous at low concentrations.
Nickel, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, cobalt, nickel and lead are well-known toxic heavy metals.
Red ink colour ingredients are cadmium sulphide or cadmium selenide, iron oxides or ferric hydrate, mercury sulphide. Green ink colour ingredients are cobalt or chromium oxide, phthalocyanine green (a complex of copper), a mix of cobalt and lead chromate. Blue ink colour is made from ‘goodies’ like cobalt, such as cobalt aluminium oxides, copper phthalocyanine.
Find out more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tattoo_ink There it is clearly written:
Several commonly-used ingredients are potential carcinogens. Many of the particles used in tattoo inks are less than 100 nanometres in diameter, making it easier for them to penetrate cells and possibly cause cancer.
Risk reduction
Most of us are living in a dirty world. The air and rain water are polluted. Tinned food, packaged meat products, instant soups, and other industrially processed food are full of chemicals. Do you really want somebody to inject toxic stuff into your skin and blood?
What is a beauty?
We were born as innocent human beings. Shall we follow other people at our sensible adult age by doing something fashionable? Can human skin (color/race doesn’t matter) be more beautiful than it is naturally?
If tattoo will make you happy, go with it.
I know many people who have a tattoo, I do not blame them (of course), and I’m OK with all peope. I just wonder if people do some research before absorbing anything into their bodies. I guess a healthy life style is what we want.
